JACL/OCA Leadership Summit
This intensive civil rights and advocacy seminar is designed to give 15 OCA (Asian Pacific American Advocates) and 15 JACL members in the opportunity to learn about advocacy, public policy, civil rights legislation, and decision-making at the federal level. Attendees engage with and learn from members of Congress, members of the White House, the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus, administration officials, government agencies, as well as partner organizations in the Washington, DC social justice community.

JACL National Convention
Held annually, locally members attend to become involved with national policy.

Teacher Training Workshops
Sponsored by the national JACL through a grant from the U.S Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Japanese American Confinement Sites grant program. Several workshops are typically held annually, throughout the nation.
